SAWA Chiefs call on President Paul Biya to run for the upcoming 2018 Presidential elections

Traditional rulers of the SAWA people have called on the Head of State President Paul Biya to stand as a candidate for the upcoming Presidential elections in Cameroon. 

In a declaration signed by nine chiefs of the different clans regrouping the Sawa people, the traditional rulers said they unanimously took the decision of inviting Paul Biya to join the presidential race, during the just ended extraordinary meeting of the Sawa people.

They equally condemned the press outing of the US Ambassador to Cameroon last week, where he blamed the Cameroon Government of perpetrating violence in the anglophone crisis regions.
