President Paul Biya Declares Monday April 30th A Public Holiday, Ahead Of The International Labour Day Of Tuesday 1st May

The President of the Republic of Cameroon His Excellency Paul Biya has signed a Decree no. 0292 / cab / PR today 27th of April 2018, declaring Monday April 30th 2018 a Public Holiday.

This decision is in accordance with the Cameroon local law, that makes any day in between two public holidays a public holiday.

Sunday is considered a public holiday and Tuesday 1st May which is the International Labour Day is a holiday, automatically making Monday a public holiday.

This means Cameroonians will only return to work on Wednesday  2nd May, 2018.
