Truck Pushers at the Maroua Central Market go on Rampage over a 22 000F CFA Annual tax imposed on them by the Council - Video

Truck pushers at the Maroua Central market yesterday Wednesday March 21st, 2018 staged a protest walk to the Governor's to protest a 22 000 F CFA annual tax, imposed on them by the Council.

They walked from the Maroua Central Market, through Avenue Kakatare to the Governor's office, blowing whistles of protest.

Truck pushers are very indispensable in our markets, and sources say their justified anger affected both traders and customers, who need them to carry their goods from the market to local destinations.
