Teachers who were arrested and detained for protesting their 25 months unpaid salaries have been released after apologising to government

Some 56 teachers who were arrested last Thursday 1st March 2018 in Yaounde for protesting their unpaid 25 months salaries, have been released after penning down an apology to the government through the Delegate of National Security.

Barrister Akere Muna and his legal team stepped into the matter that same day, and assisted in the auditions, and wrote that they welcomed the release of the teachers, who were forced to apologize to regain their freedom.
