Barrister Agbor Balla has condemned the attack on Barrister Emmanuel Simh, the Legal counselor of Patrick Nganang, Southern Cameroon detainees and Caristan Isseri, the 'Le Jour' newspaper journalist who as recently beaten and sequestrated at Minister Mebe Ngo's resident.

In a statement of today Monday March 19, 2018, Barrister Agbor Balla stressed the difficulties faced by human rights lawyers and civil actors in the Cameroonian society, and said Barrister Simh's fight against injustice is a noble one.

Barrister Emmanuel Simh as attacked and beaten by thugs in front of his residence last evening, as he was returning from a meeting.

Were it not for the timely intervention of his son and neighbours, he would have been assassinated. He however sustained serious injuries, and was rushed to the hospital for medical intervention.
