Leonel Epie Esabe  - Cameroonian actor and menswear designer

Leonel Epie Esabe is a Cameroonian born actor and Menswear Fashion designer, with acting experience both at home, in the neighbouring Nigerian Nollywood and abroad.

His acting career started way back when he was a kid, acting in school and church dramas.

Sources close to Leonel say his early life was animated by his acting passion, where he will stand infront of the family breakfast, lunch or dinner table and perform a sketch, or stand in front of the mirror and incarnate a personality he had watched in a movie.

He made his first screen appearance in 2010 in Bangkok Thailand, where he featured in international movies as an 'African Prince' and another as a 'Diplomat'. 

He also starred in minor roles in several other movies in Thailand  and moved to Lagos Nigeria in April 2013 to pursuit his acting career.

Luckily when he got there, he was auditioned, and grabbed a role as a Police Officer in the movie "Night Raid" where he played alongside veteran Nollywood actor Segun Arinze, with who he also starred in a Reality Show 'Heroes', where he was selected as one of the ambassadors.

Leonel also featured in the movie 'Code of Silence' produced by Imem Isong of the prestigious Nollywood Royal Arts production house in Nigeria.

He was in this movie with Nollywood A-listers like Desmond Elliot, Patience Ozokwor, Amaechi Mounagor and the beautiful Ini Edo, who played as wife to his character Donatus.

That movie 'Code of Silence', took Leonel to the world's podium especially when it passed through Africa's biggest video platform MNET's 'Africa Magic Showcase' channel on Dstv.

Leonel Esabe Epie who is in early thirties has also featured in a minor role in the Cameroonian movie "Ndolo and the Senator', produced by Cameroonian Mbango Adambi who is based in the US.

As his mentor in the Nigerian movie industry, Leonel pays homage and salutes Kunle Coker aka Ziggy of the famous Soap Opera 'Tinsel', whom he met on set on the series '24/7', and who has always stood by him as a father, a teacher, and a coach through out his career path.

Leonel has starred in other long soap operas and many other Nigerian movies along side Nigeria's best screen divas and dons like Kanayo O Kanayo, Desmond Elliot, Segun Arinze Chinedu Ikedezie, Majid Michel, Patience Ozokwor aka Mama G, Ini Edo,Nse Ipke Etim just to name a few

He has worked with reputable production houses like MNET, Royal Arts Academy,  Galaxy Tv, Zulu films, Divine Touch Production and many more.

He has casted in some short films by Penjo Movies, owned by Penjo Baba.

The born actor is also a designer of  of men's wear, and when he is not on the field acting, he is designing cloths for his brand 'Signature clothing' to make ends.
