Barrister Agbor Balla Maintains His Initial Position of Federalist - "Federation Will Be A Win-Win" - He Opened Up On BBC Focus On Africa

Barrister Agbor Balla is on the moving train again, and the silent pill he swallowed after his release from the Kondengui dungeon has expired from his body for good. He is becoming the vocal man we had, before government arrested him, Dr. Fontem N. Neba and others, on January 17, 2017, in connection with the ongoing anglophone crisis.

Barrister Agbor, who since his release, has been having controversial media criticism, with fake insinuations that he has crossed the Sanaga River, and has sold his people over the Moungo because of his silence, is now very vocal locally and internationally, clearly making his stance, regarding the current crisis.

In his most recent interview on 'BBC Focus on Africa', the banned Consortium President talked about the way forward to dialogue with a neutral third party involving supporters of Federalism, Unitary State and Independence, following the violence and killings of October 1st protests in North West and South West Regions.

Barrister Nkongho said no one(especially the government) ever saw what is happening today coming, because they never gave a thought about it, even though every one knew the anger, bitterness, frustration and disappointment the anglophone people have with the government.

He said he even cautioned the government during one of his TV outings in December 2016, that since they were forbidding talks on Federation, when they will have their backs on the wall, with no option left than to talk Federalism, the people too will reject them, and ask for something bigger, which is the case today.

"Our starting point is for a Federation. For The time being, we think that a Federation is the best option. A Federation addresses the problems faced by the anglophones, and it is in-between those standing for Independence and those for the Unitary State. So a Federation is something in the center and I think that it could be a Win-Win." He concluded.
