Heavily Pregnant Oct. 1 Fever Grips The Government, As Cavaye Convenes Emergency Meeting To Call For Urgent Dialogue

Independence  bells of Oct, 1 2017 are jingling loud, far and clear, as Southern Cameroonians are determined more than ever, to cross the Moungo bridge, and move over to Buea, separating themselves from the Republic of Cameroon, come sun or rain, inside tear gas smoke, canons of water, battalion of soldiers with bullets thundering left and right, up and down. 'Reach Buea or die while crossing the Moungo' is their Oct. 1 mantra.

On the other hand, echoes of the Friday Sept. 22nd 2017 protest through out Southern Cameroons is still having effervescent effects on the government, reason why close door meetings are being held in high and secret places 24/7 to take measures and actions, to abort the heavily pregnant unknown giant program to be delivered on  Oct. 1, 2017.

It is under the blanket of this 40°C  fever of fear, that  the speaker of the lower house of Parliament Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril convened a meeting with representatives of of all political parties not represented in the executive bureau of the National Assembly, those of the ruling CPDM party from both the North West and South West regions, and other MPs, to discuss on the prevailing situation in Southern Cameroons.

According to the Minutes of the meeting that took place today at the Glass House Ngoa Ekele Yaounde, and which is going viral on social media, participants discussed on the recent happenings in Bamenda, Buea, and  Douala, chief towns of the North West, South West and Littoral Regions. 

They also examined measures so far put in place by the government to put an end to the crisis, and discussed lengthily on the unknown agenda of the HEAVILY PREGNANT October 1, 2017.

The MPs condemned violence and also condemned the coming Oct. 1 Southern Cameroons Independence, which they say is an attempt to divide the one and indivisible Cameroon.

According to the Minutes, participants reaffirmed their total engagement to a one and indivisible Cameroon, recommends that government takes its responsibilities against those perpetrating violence and public disorder, and bring them to answer for their acts before the law.

The men adorned in green, red, yellow sash with the yellow star on the red, symbolizing the 'UNITY OF CAMEROON' sitting at the glass house, also took engagements to block every attempt of destabilization of the nation in their respective constituencies, calling on the people to be calm, to vigilant and patriotic.

The minutes concluded with the MPs launching  an appeal for DIALOGUE and restrain.
