Ferocious Super Eagles Of Nigeria Crush And Humiliates The Indomitable Lions Of Cameroun 4-0

After the break of the spectacular first half, a roar rang out from the packed stadium in Uyo, as both teams made their entrance into the field again, with Hugo Broos's men low spirited physically, as they kicked off to set the ball rolling for the second half, with Choupo-Moting manning all his strength to convince the green, red, yellow community who were was almost invisible in the crowd of supporters that they could trust him.

Bassogog had became calm and quiet, after a great first 10-15 minutes, as his teammates pressed harder to manage a breakthrough into into the net of the men in green.

Anguissa Zambo who has been one strong man for the Camerounian side, rifled a half volley low and hard shot during the 48 minute, forcing Nigerian goalie Ikechukwu Ezenwa into a sweating action, as the Lions continue to control the game through out the start of the second half.

Ngamaleu unfortunately subbed at an interval, awarding Nigeria a free kick in a dangerous position at the 52 minute, but an overhit delivery  from Moses with Ndidi failed to make a difference.

During the 55 minute, Moses Simon and Victor Moses linked up fantastically, in a virtuoso display, shaking Fabrice Ondoua's net the third time in an indisputable 3 - 0.

Huh! the Super Eagles are really having a filled day in Uyo as in the 58 minutes, Choupo-Moting is seen rolling on the floor from a muscular injury, and was replaced by Arnaud Djoum. One could see eminent changes from the side of people in green, as players were warming up. Ighalo the man of the match was replaced by Kelechi a Leceister striker.

We are in the 61 minutes of the game, with 30 more minutes for the Referee to say its over, and the title holder of the 2017 African Nations Cup are still dreaming to shake Ikechukwu's net, even though one could see their dying wish for the match to end without their counterparts humiliating them any further.

Kelechi Iheanacho who had just replaced  Ighalo, broke through the goal at the 65 minutes, but was stopped by the whistle because he played foul on a Camerounian defender. 

Victor Moses effortlessly tried his luck, as he proved exhausted, but his right foot shot went over Ondoua's net.

Obi Mikel leaves the pitch for Mikel Agu to take his place, as the green, red, yellow flag bearers pushed forward, leaving swathes of open space for their counterparts to launch a quick counter in the 69th minute.

The Uyo stadium was now a gloryland as trumpets sounded higher and farther by home fans as the minutes tickle away.

15 minutes to blast of the final whistle, another goal from the the green was eminent, as the ball dropped to Balogun, and a wild swipe from the defender, drove the the ball high into the night sky of Uyo.

The play continued again with a great encounter from Nigeria, Moses serving a delightful ball into the area, and Kelechi Iheanaho opened fire and broke into the Cameroun's net, humiliating the Lions a fourth at the 77th minute.

Al hopes for the Lions to mark a goal in their proved futile, despite many attempts and other changes, until the referee said it was over in the 92 minutes.

The Lions shocked at the humiliation had nothing but their eyes to cry out.

A resounding victory for the Super Eagles, keeping them on top of the group, as we await to see a change in the return leg come Monday Sept. 4, 2017 in Yaounde.
