Minister of Defense Communicates About Military Ship That Sank Yesterday, Saying 34 Out Of The 37 On Board Died

The Minister of Defense Joseph Beti Assomo, has addressed the incident of the Cameroonian Logistics Military ship, that sank yesterday July 16 2017, at the Debuncha coastal sea, killing 34 BIR elements.

The Vessel that was named 'Le Mundemba' was en route to Bakassi, to replenish the stock of what their colleagues in Bakassi needed, and along the Debunsha Coast, something went wrong and it sank, with 37 BIR elements on board, and some heavy military logistics needed for the Bakassi conflict area.

According to a Press Release  signed by  Minister  Joseph Beti Assomo last night, THREE SOLDIERS  survived the accident, and a rescue team is still surfing the waters to retrieve more bodies.
