President Paul Biya Decrees Monday June 26 2017 Public Decree, Following The Law Of December 7, 1973 On Public Holidays

Following the Muslim Feast of the Ramadan today June 25, 2017, the Head of State President Paul Biya has decreed Monday June 26, 2017, a public holiday. 

This Presidential decree falls in line with the law of December 7, 1973, fixing legal feast and public holidays in the country, notably when a legal religious feast day falls on a Sunday, the next day which is a Monday automatically becomes a holiday.

To these effect, all activities of both the public and private sectors will officially resume on Tuesday June 27, 2017.
