The case opposing  the Anglophone Civil Society Leaders plus 25 others and  the State, has been adjourned to June 7, 2017, where probabilities show they will be granted bail.

The decision was made during Wednesday May 24th hearing by the jury in the Kangaroo court Yaounde.

During the hearing of 23rd March 2017, the State Counsel General said he will not be what he termed 'hostile' to the temporal bail request for Barrister Agbor Nkongho and Dr. Fontem Neba, as such, did not rule out or oppose their bail request, but said if granted bail, they will be put 'under judicial monitoring or control'.

Being under judicial monitoring means the two Consortium leaders will be released from jail, but will be restraint by certain obligations that will be prescribed by the presiding judges, like they will be obliged not to leave the country until after the case, or must appear in court when need be, and they will be made to pay some huge sums of money as caution before the release etc...

However, the court rejected the bail request for the other 25 persons, who were not arrested on the same day with the two mentioned above, but who were added to the case file under the same accusations, including Mancho Bibixy.

The court's decision of  accepting to  grant bail to these two men leaders whom the State is charging with 'terrorists activities' among other counts, comes in as a result of local and international pressures on the government, whose image has been soiled beyond the national territory, because of their intimidating practices, against a people who are demanding their geniune rights.
