The Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation is under fire for publishing two separate lists of successful candidates for the same  entrance examination, and with different names.

According to  'La Nouvelle expression Expression' Newspaper of  April 21, 2017 reporting on the scandal, the first list was published on  18 January 2017 and the second on 10 April 2017, and the two lists are for the same competitive examination for the admission of  researchers in to the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation (MINRESI).

The Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation Madeline Tchuente on April 10 2017, signed a list of 220 Researchers for her Ministry for the year  2016, cancelling the previous list published on January 18 2017, by a joint Ministerial Decree from the MINFOPRA(Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reform) and MINRESI(Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation) on the same issue.

The Paper reports that Miniuster Tchuente's new list, carries 12 new names, while 13 other names from the first list have disappeared.

In the new list of 39 candidates admitted into IRAD names of previously admitted candidates like Hassan Mahamat, Tchoudjin Getrude Loveline and Wanko Kebebou Jean Olivier have disappeared, and replaced with names like Ngo Bea Cornelie Raphaelle and Yebga Matip Guy Albert, previously absent from the first list.

Justifying this huge scandal, sources from MINRESI says that at the level  of Public Service, information found on the certificates of some candidates did not correspond to those of other identification papers. Also the age limits were not respected in some cases.

Even if the justifications are genuine, the public is curious about the fact that the recent list published was signed by one person(MINRESI), instead of the both Ministries concerned.

When pushed for further clarifications, Paul Zebaze Communication Manager at MINRESI asked reporters or whosoever was bothered about the situation to contact Minister Madeleine Tchuente.
