Two government education Ministers on a precipitated mission to Bamenda for six days, prematurely cut short their stay in frustration, two days after their agenda to sweet-talk teachers unions failed and failed woefully.

Minister Jean Ernest Ngalle Bibe Massena of Secondary Education, and Minister Alim Adjidja née Youssouf of Basic Education, failed to lure their subordinates to their side during a tit for tat meeting over the weekend.

Bibehe had arrived the North West Regional Capital over the weekend, and the State owned media announced how he would spend six(6) days lobbying the striking teachers to trigger the effective kick-off of the second term.

The Ministers realized the useleness of their  presence on the rough zone, after all school doors remained tight closed this morning 9th January 2017, respecting the Consortium's clarion call for a ghost town all over the anglophone regions.

Even though the National Executive Secretary of the Cameroon Teachers Trade Union Mr. Tassang Wilfred acknowledged Minister Bibehe's willingness in resolving the teachers grievances, he also said, the Minister who has always been of good faith, is not in the position of talking the teachers back to the classroom, until the higher deciding forces decide to embark on a  FRANK and HONEST  dialogue journey.
