Cameroon grabs just one Off Track Award in the GLO/CAF Prestigious Football Award


[LIVE] Algerian Riyad Mahrez is 2016 African Player of the Year

The prestigious annual GLO/CAF Award for the year 2016 took place at the Abuja International Conference Center  in Nigeria yesterday Thursday Jan. 5 2017, with Algerian Riyad Mahrez wearing the King-Crown of the African Footballer or the year.

Super Falcons of Nigeria emerged the best Women's National Team of the year, with striker Asisat Oshola being crowned as the Queen of the Women Football Player of the year.

Former Indomitable Lioness Emilienne Mbango, who played a major role in history of the Cameroonian Women football was honoured with the  Legend Award, to give Cameroon the lone glory in the entire event.

Meanwhile  CAF Platinum Award was presented to Nigerian President Buhari
