Cameroon - Military men open fire on Peaceful Protesting Common Law Lawyers -Photos

Common Law Lawyers who were peacefully protesting today Nov. 8 2016 in Bamenda were dispersed with tear gas by heavily armed military men from the Special Intervention unit.

Many of them were wounded and are receiving treatment in hospitals around, while some of them were arrested and taken away.

SDF's Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi who during last weekend's NEC meeting encouraged the guys and ladies in black robe to continue protesting, came to the scene to calm down the population when reports went viral that an angry mob had joined the lawyers in an indefinite strike action.

Even though his presence brought some calm,  some victims of the tear gas spray, refused to stop, insisting that their brothers who have been arrested must be released. They were joined by Okada riders.

The Lawyers say they have a Plan B, and won't stop until Etoudi addresses them.
