Anglophone Teachers Strike - Bambili takes over Bamenda in violence, while Forces of Law and Order takes the town of Bamenda hostage


Report says the town of Bambili in the North West Region of Cameroon has taken over the capital city Bamenda in a violent protest act. Our correspondent says youths of Bambili have taken to streets and are said to be burning tires on streets.

Meanwhile, troops have been deployed to Bamenda, where they have taken every joint of the town hostage, even though calm is said to have returned.
